DESCRIPTION: Location: Virtual conference. An access code will be emailed within 24 hours of registration. Some Girl Scout events require additional first aid support to ensure the safety of all attending. The Level 2 First Aid course addresses concerns about planning an event and providing emergency care when access to emergency medical services (EMS) will be > 30 minutes away or when a Safety Activity Checkpoint indicates that a Level 2 First Aider is required. Participants must have current certification in standard first aid, adult and pediatric CPR and AED to take Level 2 first aid.
