DESCRIPTION: Location: Sibley Medical Office Building. 5255 Loughboro Rd NW, Washington, DC 20016. This highly interactive course is designed for kids primarily ages 11-15. The course covers sitter skills including diapering, feeding, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, basics of first aid, choking, and CPR.  There are 13 skill stations that keep participants actively engaged. We ask that participants please bring a baby doll or stuffed animal (e.g. Teddy bear) for use with select skills. Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). An email with final logistics will arrive approximately 48 hours before the start of the course. There are no refunds once registration is completed. Any cancellations or no-shows will be assessed a $25 re-registration fee for a future class.
