                        DESCRIPTION:Location: Camp Crowell Firefly Lodge 10899 Justin Knoll Rd, Oakton, VA 22124. New blended learning format allows flexibility. Upon registration users receive access to the online course which they can complete at their leisure. Once completed, users  participate in this one day of skills scenarios. The course addresses essential information for when medical help is more than one hour away, including how to signal for help, when to evacuate, modified first aid supplies, handling injuries and illnesses from altitude illness and wild animal encounters to lightning strikes and bites and stings. Extensive scenario practice. This course meets Boy Scouts of America requirements and Girl Scout of America requirements. Certification also includes CPR and is valid for 2 years. The course begins promptly at its' scheduled time.  No one will be admitted once the class begins.  There are no refunds once registration is completed, including cancellations, no shows, or late arrivals.
