About ETR Safety

ETR is a one-stop resource servicing business and industry, government, schools, childcare centers, fitness and wellness centers, park and recreation departments, law firms, insurance providers, churches, amusement industry, and community service organizations (e.g. Boy and Girl Scout leaders and scouts).

ETR provides certification training for thousands of professionals and lay persons each year. ETR training meets national, state, and local regulatory requirements for CPR, AED, first aid, bloodborne & airborne pathogens, sport first aid and injury prevention, wilderness first aid, ACLS, lifeguarding, and OSHA safety.

Our courses meet the most current national guidelines for emergency cardiac care and first aid. ETR is an authorized national training provider of the Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI), American Heart Association (AHA) and Ellis & Associates.

Our instructors include healthcare professionals such as nurses, paramedics, EMTs, athletic trainers, professional educators, certified safety professionals, and certified personal trainers.

FAQs

A.  30 days is preferred, but we can often accommodate class needs with shorter notice.

A.  It depends on the course. First aid, CPR, and AED certifications are valid for two years. Sports First Aid, Wilderness First Aid, and ACLS are also good for two years. Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens requires annual updating per OSHA.

A.  Yes. If you have a disability as defined by ADA we will make the necessary accommodations to see that you can appropriately participate in any courses.

A.  Blended learning options are in demand. Those who complete the online courses receive an acknowledgement upon successful completion of the online course. They receive official course certification if they complete the separate skills portion of the course with one of our instructors.

A.  ETR provides several courses designed for kids ages 11-16. These include Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST), Teen Responder, and Pet Aid.
