• Standard First Aid, Adult & Pediatric CPR/AED (elearning course with Separate Skill check)

    This is a two part course. The knowledge portion is the same as the traditional classroom-based course, but it is delivered through an online course. The narrated online course is media-rich, with animations, video clips, and photographs. It is available anytime and can be completed in 1 or more sessions. Upon completion of the 2.5-hour online course, participants complete their skills (1 hour) with an instructor to receive an official certification card. Please note that once you register for the separate skills session there is a $25.00 fee for failure to show up, late arrival, or request to reschedule within 72 hours of the class. This course meets OSHA, Teacher, and Child Care training requirements. Certification is valid for 2 years.

    Location: Virtual conference. An access code will be emailed within 24 hours of registration. Some Girl Scout events require additional first aid support to ensure the safety of all attending. The Level 2 First Aid course addresses concerns about planning an event and providing emergency care when access to emergency medical services (EMS) will be > 30 minutes away or when a Safety Activity Checkpoint indicates that a Level 2 First Aider is required. Participants must have current certification in standard first aid, adult and pediatric CPR and AED to take Level 2 first aid.
