Location: Mark Catholic Church - Activity Center. 9972 Vale Road, Vienna, VA 22181. . This highly interactive course is designed for kids primarily ages 11-15. The course covers sitter skills including diapering, feeding, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, basics of first aid, choking, and CPR.  There are 13 skill stations that keep participants actively engaged. We ask that participants please bring a baby doll or stuffed animal (e.g. Teddy bear) for use with select skills. Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). An email with final logistics will arrive approximately 48 hours before the start of the course. There are no refunds once registration is completed. Any cancellations or no-shows will be assessed a $25 re-registration fee for a future class.

It is only available to those who have paid and completed part 1 (e-learning) of the "Standard First Aid, CPR/AED Blended Learning" course.  Participants will complete their skills via live video conferencing in approximately one hour with an instructor.  High speed internet, webcam, and microphone are required. Location: Virtual. Select Girl Scout events require additional first aid support to ensure the safety of all attending. The Level 2 First Aid course addresses concerns about planning an event and providing emergency care when access to emergency care will be > 30 minutes away, or when a Safety Activity Checkpoint indicates that a Level 2 First Aider is required. This course is approximately 90 minutes. Final instructions and login access will be provided 72 hours before the class date. Participants must have current certification in standard first aid, CPR and AED to take Level 2 first aid. The course begins promptly at its’ scheduled time. Location: Camp Potomac Woods: 13932 Potomac Woods Lane Leesburg, VA 20176 . New blended learning format allows flexibility. Upon registration users receive access to the online course which they can complete at their leisure. Once completed, users  participate in this one day of skills scenarios. The course addresses essential information for when medical help is more than one hour away, including how to signal for help, when to evacuate, modified first aid supplies, handling injuries and illnesses from altitude illness and wild animal encounters to lightning strikes and bites and stings. Extensive scenario practice. This course meets Boy Scouts of America requirements and Girl Scout of America requirements. Certification also includes CPR and is valid for 2 years. The course begins promptly at its' scheduled time.  No one will be admitted once the class begins.  There are no refunds once registration is completed, including cancellations, no shows, or late arrivals.
