BLAST: Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (Restricted – Girl Scouts Only)

Location: A two part course.  Part 1: Virtual conference Saturday, September 17th from 9am – noon. Attendees need a computer or handheld device with webcam and microphone enabled. Part 2: In-person skills practice September 18th 10:30am – noon, held at Brighton Lodge, Camp Brighton Woods, 120 Brighton Dam Rd, Brookeville, MD 2083. Registrants must attend both sessions. This highly interactive course is designed for kids ages 11-15. The course covers sitter basics including diapering, feeding, activities, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, first aid, and CPR.  Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). An email with Login access and further instructions will arrive 72 hours before the start of the course.
