BLAST: Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (Restricted – Girl Scouts Only)

Location:  Zion Lutheran Church. 107 West Main St. Middletown, MD 21761.  This highly interactive course is designed for kids primarily ages 11-15. The course covers sitter skills including diapering, feeding, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, and the basics of first aid, choking, and CPR.  There are 13 skill stations that keep participants actively engaged. Participants are asked to bring a baby doll or stuffed animal (e.g. Teddy Bear). Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). An email with final logistics will arrive 48 hours before the start of the course.  There are no refunds once registration is completed. Any cancellations or no-shows will be assessed a $25 re-registration fee for a future class.
