BLAST: Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (Restricted – Girl Scouts Only)

Location:  Potomac Community Center – Community Room. 11315 Falls Rd. Potomac, MD 20854.  This highly interactive course is designed for kids primarily ages 11-15. The course covers sitter skills including diapering, feeding, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, and the basics of first aid, choking, and CPR.  There are 13 skill stations that keep participants actively engaged. Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). An email with final logistics will arrive 48-72 hours before the start of the course. There are no refunds once registration is completed. Any late arrivals to the class will be refused admission. Any cancellations, late arrivals, or no-shows will be assessed a $25 re-registration fee for a future class.
