BLAST: Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (Restricted – Girl Scouts Only)

Location: Virtual conference, delivered as a live webcast. Users need a computer or handheld device with webcam and microphone enabled. This highly interactive course is designed for kids primarily ages 11-15. The course covers sitter skills including diapering, feeding, hygiene, safety/injury prevention, basics of first aid, choking, and CPR. There are 13 skills that keep participants actively engaged. An email with login instructions will be provided 72 hrs before the start of the class, and will include a list of simple household items needed for select skills. Participants receive certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). There are no refunds once registration is completed. Any cancellations or no-shows will be assessed a $25 re-registration fee for a future class.  Duration: (4 Hours)
