Location: Virtual. This class is the skills check required to complete your blended learning training. It is only available to those who have paid and completed part 1 (e-learning) of the “Standard First Aid, CPR/AED Blended Learning” course. Participants will complete their skills via live video conferencing in approximately one hour with an instructor. High speed internet, webcam, and microphone are required. The skills covered are adult, child, and Infant CPR, AED, choking care, bleeding control, splinting, use of epinephrine auto injectors, and Naloxone administration.
Approximately 48 hours before the class you will receive an email with the login access and small list of household items needed to complete the skills. You must login 10 minutes before the start of the course. The course begins promptly at its’ scheduled time. No one will be admitted once the class begins. A $25 re-registration fee will be applied to any cancellations, no shows, or late arrivals. This course meets the training requirements for scouting, OSHA, teachers, and child care providers. Certification is valid for 2 years.
